Aloft Drone Search was founded in 2022 when a local young man went missing near our hometown. John Jones, the founder, had a drone built for search and rescue; and he decided to go out and search. Although he wasn’t successful; and the search ultimately ended with a tragic outcome, John felt the urge to start a nonprofit organization with a simple goal in mind: “To help law enforcement and families find people who go missing.” Aloft Drone Search NEVER charges anyone for our services, and we often volunteer if we hear about a missing person before law enforcement or family members contact us. We use state-of-the-art air and
underwater drone technology as our tools to assist in searches; and we have invested in multiple image-analyzing software programs, all of which have proven track records in search and rescue.
