Underwater ROV
Thermal Camera Example
Do you see that white dot in the middle of the image on the left? That is a wild rabbit. The image on the right is the same image but not taken with a thermal camera. You can't see the rabbit. Thermal cameras are invaluable for search and rescue missions.
Mavic 3e in Action
During a Search in Washington.
Mission in Progress
Often times we can sit inside the vehicle and fly the drone at the same time. Here we are flying and image viewing while staying warm!
Olympic National Park
This was during a recent search. You can see the yellow tether for the underwater drone. We sent it down around the corner where we couldn't otherwise get access.
Autonomous Sonar
Still working on getting the kinks out of the autonomous sonar boat but it's close! Here is an image of how the boat sends us live views of sonar.
Autonomous Sonar In Action
This "boat" may look goofy but don't let it fool you. Yes, thats a boogie board but what it's capable of is some serious sh*&^! The boat is equipped with Garmin sonar and can sonar scan bodies of water autonomously while it sends live sonar feeds back to us on the shoreline. It can be deployed in under a minute and can operate for hours without having to charge the batteries. We are still in the testing phases but we're getting close to finishing the project. There aren't many of these out there and especially not like this one!
Our Workhorse, the Mavic 3E
We chose the Mavic 3E as our go to workhorse because we can easily fit it and all of it's batteries in a backpack and hike into locations not accessible by vehicle or atv.
Mavic 3E Takeoff
Sometimes its a challenge to find a safe, flat location to take off and land. Here we used a log!
