John received his Fixed Wing Commercial Pilot Certification in June 2001. However, due to
events on September 11, 2001, a career change was necessary to support his growing family.
Always having an interest in aviation and search and rescue (even in childhood,) he decided to
put this long-time hobby into something that would benefit the community. John, with an
entrepreneurial spirit, owns Dreamline Renovations, LLC, specializing in kitchen and bathroom
remodeling. During his off time, you can find John spending time with his three teenage sons;
continually improving the Aloft Drone Search nonprofit with ongoing flight skill improvements
and experimenting with drone flight techniques for optimal search outcomes as well as playing
guitar and singing in his country music band, The Johnny and Jason Band.
